You keep the systems and data in your premises.  We access them remotely. 

We encourage you, our client, to keep the systems (servers, computers and software applications) in your premises; ring fenced by your firewalls.  We access them remotely.  We read your data and execute the accounting or other processes.  We don’t download or store your data in our premises.  (If your processes necessitate us to do, we have further policies/practices to protect these).

We access your systems/data in a secure manner:

We access your systems in a safe way.  We connect to your network through an encrypted data tunnel that facilitates intrusion free secure transmission of data and document images.
Our delivery center networks are ring-fenced by firewalls that control access, protect our databases, detect intrusion and provide logical security.  We use open standard encryption for better protection.  We access your systems through Citrix/Terminal Server software wherever possible.

We ensure you don’t suffer when you disengage us:

We want to serve you for long.  However, that will have to be based on the value we continue to create for you by continuous improvement in quality and productivity.  If for some reason, you wish to disengage our services, you don’t need to worry about your systems/data.  You need to simply deny access to your systems and connect alternative resources.  You are in control.  Additionally we covenant to do a smooth transition to any one you specify, if the need ever arises.  Our reputation depends on these too.

Our Delivery Centers are secure environments:

Entry to our delivery centers is restricted to authorized staff alone.  All entries/exits are controlled, monitored and recorded.

Our delivery center is free of any recording device including access to internet, access to emails outside a closed user group, writing devices on our PCs (including CD/DVD drives, USB flash memories, floppy drives).  We prohibit pen, paper, cameras and mobile phones with any kind of recording device into our delivery centers. 

Our employees are covenanted by contract to respect your IP rights and data confidentiality:

All our employees have formal employment contracts enforceable in the jurisdiction of our delivery centers.

All our employees are covenanted by contract to respect your IP rights and confidentiality of your data, processes and plans.  This covenant continues to apply even after the contracts are terminated by them or us.  We have a policy of pursuing action against any violation of this covenant without exception.

We discourage our employees from sharing confidential data, process or plan with our employees in other programs. 

We respect US law on intellectual property:

Regardless of where we deliver our service, we voluntarily agree to comply with the US laws on intellectual property for our US customers.  We are happy to build this into our contract with you should you require this.
