TQ starts operations at its third delivery center in SEZ in Chennai

Chennai, 12 Jan 2012:TaurusQuest (www.taurusquest.com) commences operations at its third delivery centre in Chennai. The delivery center is located in Ramanujan IT City, a special economic zone promoted in Chennai by Tatas.

The new unit will house new programs in XBRL and iXBRL space for its clients in United States and United Kingdom. The facility, when fully commissioned, can accommodate around 900 people.

TaurusQuest already has two delivery centers in Chennai, India. TaurusQuest delivery centres have ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for Quality management and ISO 27001:2005 accreditation for Information Security Management. TaurusQuest provides outsourced process management services to clients in United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Austria. TaurusQuest’s DataTracks business unit provides XBRL and iXBRL services through user friendly web portals (See www.datatracks.com, www.datatracks.co.uk and www.datatracks.in).

Ramanujan IT City is 3.5 million square feet integrated SEZ commercial infrastructure located in the heart of Chennai, promoted by the Tata Group of India. The promoters have signed up with several leading global IT companies as anchor tenants and have set up an ambience that is conducive to companies involved in making India a world class hub for providing IT services to the world.

TaurusQuest was the first tenant to sign up with the new facility as early as 19 months back when the project was at its nascent stage.

This new TaurusQuest delivery centre is eco friendly. The entire infrastructure has been setup with a consciousness for a green environment. TaurusQuest’s office also uses technology solutions that are conducive to a green environment.
